The Aero Vodochody L39 Albatross is the Soviet analogue of the MB339, the aircraft used by the Frecce Tricolori aerobatic team.

The Aero L-39 Albatros is a high-performance trainer jet developed in the 1960s in Czechoslovakia by the Aero Vodochody company.
The L-39 Albatros was the first second-generation jet trainer to be produced, constituting the real bridge between small propeller planes and supersonic MIGs.
